Unscrew and open the control panel of the machine. Pry up and open the cabinet top, using a trowel. The cabinet top will loosen. Remove rinse cup or cap on the top of the mixer shaft. Some machines have cups or lids that pop up while others are screwed.
Look for bolts or screws that hold the plastic agitator in place. Look in the cavity under the lid and the base of the plastic agitator. Remove the bolt or screw and pull the agitator straight up and spline. Remove key nut holding the internal biocube media basket in place, using a wrench. Pull out the basket. Remove the screws that secure the outer cage in place. Lift out the outer basket.
